Kenneth Philip George is an actor, director and playwright living and working in Germany since 1999.
He is guest director at PerpetuoMobileTeatro in the Swiss canton of Ticino. This collaboration has brought two devised creations to the stage; of which Sehnsucht has picked up awards in the USA, Italy, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.
company writing on water is collaborating with Little Black Fish Collective, Berlin with a view towards building a sustainable, long-term ensemble as well as creating and continuously working on projects for an initial period from 2017 to 2021.
We are currently creating part one of a trilogy dealing with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. An ensemble called Circus Pari-Pari has been specifically created for this project, bringing together professional and non-professional actors from the ages of 11 to 70+, irrespective of gender, nationality, language and (dis)abilities, from Berlin, and Bruchsal in South Germany, where we have the Exil Theater as our partner.
The premiere of the first instalment will be on 21st September, 2017 at Exil Theater, Bruchsal.
Kenneth George is involved as co-author and co-director, and responsible for the physical training of the ensemble.
His children's play Ben & The Smugglers for Platypus Theater, written by Peter Scollin, is still enjoying a successful run on Berlin stages since its premiere in Autumn 2006.
